Mick Webb

A determined radical freethinker, my many years of being involved in the sports coaching of children, as well as being a school governor operating within the English education system, has given me a unique insight into the pressures of the journey from child to adult. Living in Surrey, England with my wife Marise we have also witnessed the journey of our three children, now all adults, in their progress through life. 

I am am active participant in our local community and believe we must all join together if we to have any hope of creating a future that is fair and fit for all. My travels through many countries have shown the world is full of kind and caring people who all deserve a better chance. 

My first book Smashing the Cage is a passionate observation on the complications of the world we now live in. It is a challenge to both those who believe they have the right to dominate the planet and the processes and protocols they implement that are the cause of many of the problems society faces. I find inspiration in those of the past such as Martin Luther King Jnr and Mahatma Ghandi who wanted a world of unity, the witty observations of the great Mark Twain and Oscar Wilde who were prophetic in their wit, and from the voices of the wise peacemakers who realise we are not here to hate but to respect and love.
